The sibling relationship is complex, oftentimes challenging, and uniquely beautiful. Typically, there is an unspoken language of understanding between siblings. InFocus Advocacy ran several programs exploring this bond as it relates to children who have grown up with a  sibling with disability. Each program used photography, writing and/or group discussion to help participants share their unique perspectives. Programs were conducted in partnership with the Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) and First in Families of NC. All programs witnessed prevalent themes of mutual support, emotional comfort, family traditions, and gracious interdependence.
